i dont know any underrated ones but i would say bl animes with really good plot that doesn't use rape as an excuse to sexualize gay men is given, banana fish, and classmates. i really enjoyed those three so far though theyre pretty popular as well

I mean Sarazanmai has bl in it, and it is underrated so check it out if you dare

'Fake' is really, really good. The art is not-so much (it's a 90s anime) but it's really hillarious for a mystery-ish anime. I'd definitely recommend watching this, at least once in your life.

There's also 'Yebisu Celebrities' - it's a typical rich guy-poor uke situation, but it's super entertaining. They actually delve right into what's it like to work in a fashion industry, not just for the sake of moving the plot.

'This Boy is A Professional Wizard' is something I'd recommend too. It's my all-time fav to watch whenever I feel sad, lol. Everything about this anime is so soft. The uke is such a cinnamon pie and the seme is hot, and he genuinely wants to get to know the uke, not the kind that only wants sex. The graphics are pretty good too.
