Both have anime adaptations if that helps. Inu x boku ss is a fave of mine, shame the mangaka died suddenly and so young too, her art and story were beautiful and heartbreaking.

V.B Rose! - really like how every character has a story in this manga and its really nice art in my opinion
I totally second Kokkuri -san. It's funny and heartwarming and has all the feels.
I always recommend Pansy, Kanata Kara, and Miriam.
Excellent little gems of the genre, if a tiny bit dated.
Particularly love Kanata Kara. It rare to have such good and balanced character development, flowing plot, and deep introspection in a Shoujo.

lol ok now I'm invested, have you tried:
- Hanatsukihime (demon x human short but makes an impact)
-Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 ( lil bit of solving crime but mostly just funny+fluffy)
-Masca ( all the magic things and I'd say the art style is kinda unique)
-Dance! Subaru ( not romance based, all about a girl becoming a dancer and there's a sequel too )
-Ciel -the last autumn story- (its not exactly complete translated, I think it's 1 ch away but i just read a summary of it online. I think it's a pretty refreshing story with a strong FL)
- Kore wa Koi no Hanashi (Large age gap ML is a writer, darker themed compared to what I've recommended before)
-Hana no namae (pretty much the same thing as the one above but a little lighter)

I’ve actually read those. The love the author from the second one noted! The only one I haven’t read or maybe I’ve read a long time ago is Masca but it looks familiar.
Can y’all recommend me good completed shoujos. I always like lowkey underrated good shoujos. Especially old ones. I like good character development or plot too, doesn’t have to have romance. Thanks friends!
