doesn’t rlly seem like the author knows what a BDSM dynamic is supposed to be like, the uke acted like a dom and the seme acted like a sub 80% of the time

bdsm doesnt have to take form of a top being dominant or a bottom being submissive though? a bottom can be dominant and vice versa

nah, I get that!! I DONT WANNA REREAD THIS AGAIN so I’m not positive, but I’m pretty sure the bottom was set up as a sub? but pretty much all of his actions were dominant, like he acted like a dom, if I remember correctly

It sounds like you don't know what a BDSM dynamic is "supposed to be". The only universal rule in BDSM that it's consensual, and that a Dom or top takes responsibility for the sub or bottom's safety if you're doing something that puts them at risk. It's a very diverse world.

"The uke acted like a dom and the seme acted like a sub 80% of the time". I don't understand what your point is though, that happens all the time in real life (except for the labels "seme" and "uke", those defined roles only exist in yaoi, not real life). Most people who like BDSM don't practice lifestyle D/s, they just do it in the bedroom, so some couples switch roles. Kayama mostly tops from the bottom. He definitely wasn't set up as a sub, but even if he had been, that wouldn't say anything about the mangaka's understanding of BDSM. It would mean they wanted to challenge your assumptions and stereotypes.

So what if his actions were dominant? That doesn't mean he can't be a sexual submissive. You're the one who doesn't know shit about BDSM, sis.

He’s a power sub tho, it’s a yaoi trope and switches are a thing
