I think some good can come out of this whole messed up situation. The uke had irregular heats with extremely strong pheromones. Unfortunately, only bonding to an Alpha can prevent the uke from attracting Alphas (and Bata?) and possibly being repeatedly raped. I think if the Alpha breaks the bond, the Omega can’t bond to another Alpha BUT when he goes into heat in the future his pheromones will no longer be attracting other Alphas because it is keyed only to that Alpha who broke the bond. If this omegaverse follows the same pattern as the story about an Omega and a Beta couple that developed a successful relationship with each other after the bond was broken, then there is future hope for our desired couple. Because the Omega may never be able to bond with another Alpha, but with the broken bond, the bonding sickness experienced when touched by another person not the bond will eventually go away and the Omega can have a (in our world) normal relationship with the person of his choice without worrying about being rapped because his pheromones are attracting others. This is truly the only way Omega and Beta can be together happily. Without having a bond (whole or broken) preventing the spread of the strong pheromones, the couple wouldn’t last no matter how much they loved each other because the Omega world constantly be used, taken advantage of, and endangered of being rapped. The Beta would never be able to completely protect the Omega (as seen by how company sent Beta away in order to take advantage of Omega heat before Omega bonded to Alpha). This would be different if the Omega’s heat could be completely controlled by the medication, but that is impossible for this Omega.
