I don't like it when I'm watching a non-romance anime and the author purposely puts hints of romance just for fans. For example Free! has so much of this, I don't like it, but I don't really mind it that much. But I get annoyed sometimes when I see fangirl comments like "Haru is Rin's boyfriend. PERIODT." Idk they just sound like complete idiots. I'm perfectly fine with it unless the author drops hints of romance if one of the characters is crushing on the other.
Or if the relation ship is confirmed to be Canon.

I remember when the author of Hero Academia drew the female characters in bikini and peoplw in (specifically)Twitter started calling hom pervert or pedophile. I feel like Twitter 8s full of angry, brainless, stubborn, bandwagon-ers, depressed people.

In much opinion I just feel like ecchi scenes aren't used at the right moment , you'll have an emotional turning point or a serious fight going on and BAM fanservice. Of course they need to have it for the fans but I just think it's over used. For example in fire force when a female character was getting beat up a few moments later it turns to a comedic point by getting her clothes ripped , like ??? The fanservice at that point is unnecessary because of the fight that follows after.
Fanservice can ruin and get hated by even boys also , the fairy tail anime/manga would get hate from both genders because of the over use of fanservice. I think there's a time and place for everything.
Last thing that I hate is that popular anime or anime/manga that gets the most attention is those that have a lot of fanservice. When the anime or manga isn't even that good but because it has fanservice it gets extremely popular , and that goes for both shounen and shoujo genres
If girls can get bulged muscles pulsating from the screen as fan service then so should men. They should be allowed to enjoy the tits. Equality.

I‘m seeing girls on twt being mad at shounen anime or rather the authors for having fan service for boys (basically they are mad at female characters being sexualized). And tbh I don’t get it? Why are they acting like they don’t sexualize boys or fetish gay people? You can’t tell me that they love Free! for the „plot“.

The real problem should be that most shounen girls are too dumb/useless...well for me they are too dumb (but let’s be honest most shounen protags are dumb af too, so whatever)
