I'm confused

So what was the reason he wanted the younger sister??? Like it can't just be the fact he thought that she would be just like her sister. Like was he hoping she would have her personality and be younger then him? I mean technically for this Era you wanted someone younger since they don't live as long and had more chances to be able to reproduce. So I wouldn't say he was really in the wrong cause of what type of Era they're in calls for it. But what he was in the wrong for was jumping the gun into becoming finances like i remember in this time period they usually do some type of courting to see if they can stand being married to that person for the rest of their life.

I think it was because he needed one of the sisters to i guess secure his position and at first it was the eldest sister but because they requested to change he just went along with it, its easy to say he regretted

Yes basically he needed one of the sisters the older sister was the best candidate but when the younger one wanted the change he went along with it cause he like her a bit better and hope they had similar attitude but he fuck up and by time he wanted to take it back the older sister had gone to the dragon (▰˘◡˘▰)

But that still doesn't explain why leave the older sister. If he need the power from that family staying with the older would of just of been just as easy. Like he doesn't even seem all that interested in the younger one as well. Like what made he go with the younger one if he was gonna get the power anyways from either sister.

Ok so the younger sister pestered him into it. Like did she get daddy to just bombard him until he changed his mind to the younger one? If so then I don't see how he's the bad guy at fault I mean if your future in law wouldn't shut up and you didn't really care for either sibling you would just say ok w.e just shut up in your head.

He is completely at fault. He want to be king but didn't put any effort whatsoever to make sure that his future queen would make a good royal too. He just wanted to make sure to win the race against his younger brother without thinking about his current and future responsabilities. He deserve everything that is coming to him.

I'm not saying he's not... since that's what I put up in the first post near the end. I was just saying that I didn't understand why he switched.

It was my answer to your latest post where you said that he could have relented just to make them shut up. It was his responsability to undertand the situation and to talk to all the involved parties before taking such a rash action. He is one of the bad guy, even if he trie to redeem himself later on.
