Is she still continuing the story???

last i heard she was focusing on her health and a shojo series.

I heard the series was cancelled due to poor sales. I knew she was shooting herself in the foot when she paired off all the rival love interests with other people early on; it completely destroyed the anticipation of having persistant rejected love interests trying to tear the established couple apart. There was no romantic drama, so it felt like it wad wrapping things up from the last arc instead of starting a new one.
