Really I don't understand people saying that Sumi is being a hypocrite... He is in desperate state and (as you guys said) he is not experienced with life enough He was really confused before he paired with that alpha and the only person who could help him, Utou, didn't do anything about it

I want Utou to stop looking from afar and him to decide take his happiness with his own hands, because he (sometimes unconsciously) has left everything up to Sumi

They have been attacking him and not liking him since chapter 1. Saying that sumi pushed utou away. Sumi said he didn’t like betas because of his experience with them. But so far he had more character development than utou because he fell in love and started to trust the beta him. He even admitted that when he confessed but it went over his head, especially since he liked sumi way before him but didn’t take the opportunity to say something. Sometimes they forget sumi is an omega that’s needs strong medicine to take, which he is but it doesn’t work. Even not that he needs a partner to rely on to help him. It doesn’t even have to be an alpha. Shira stepped up to the plate, so I don’t blame sumi ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Ugh, poor Sumi (‘~`;) even without the trauma, having a heat like that is difficult enough, it's understandable for him wanting to be paired and be looking for an alpha like in the first chapters

Well it’s not his fault that mangaka screwed him up. He already is taking the strongest medication and he has to work 2 jobs to meet ends meet. And he is still struggling from his trauma. Like wtfffffff give my boi a break. I truly hope he does something to make him happy. Like leave the company and start ur own omega company where other omegas don’t have to struggle. Like omegas can be smart. Like people are actually forgetting he was raped and there is no MEDICATION to solve his heat. Is he supposed to wait weeks, months for utou to confess and help him sexually. Like wtffff. This manga makes me sooo mad. Plus I swear the mangaka acts like she doesn’t even care about sumis character and she favourites kurusama even more than him. She doesn’t care about the reception of his character and basically throws him under the bus (╬￣皿￣)凸

Utou hesitated because he is hurting as well. Yes, his trauma isn't as serious as Sumi's, but it's a trauma nevertheless. He loved an omega, who went and fell in love with an alpha and bonded with him. He fell for another one, but he was hesitant whether this relationship would also end up as his first one. It also doesn't help that their relationship was super rushed because the author couldn't decide who they want to give more screen time to.
