Kinda hard to tell. The MC is still being mentioned and is still important but from like... 185 chapter he showed up maybe once? Few more if you include retrospections etc. Everything leads to some final battle which he is to lead however its progresing rather slow (we have 242 chapters already - so aroud 60 witout MC)... it kinda pisses me off a little -_-
