No.... I’m afraid it’s nit princess mononoke..... I wish it was. The maggot like disease thing was the main plot and the girl tried to save the dying animal. Princess Mononoke didn’t. Thank you all anyways
I’ve been looking for this one anime for..... the past 6-7 years. . My frustration is beyond words. I don’t remember much apart from the fact that it traumatized me since I was pretty young and from what I actually do remember it was about,
I think this girl and maybe some guy, it was sort of historical, set in like dororo times and the art looked a bit like princess mononokes art style so it was probably pretty old and I remember there was this disease, I think it was sorta like some dean on thing at the same time and it was like red maggots you couldn’t get rid off. The were crawling all over you and ate u up alive. It looked disgusting. I think at the end of the movie there was I’m pretty sure a wild boar OR some other animal that the girl cared about and he was being eaten up and she ran to him despite some guy telling her not to and everyone (including me lol) was crying and shouting and the girl tried to basically scoop out the never ending red maggot like things which was a mistake cuz the went onto her too and I’m pretty sure she died in the end.
If anyone could help me I’d be forever grateful.... it’s been 6 years......
