YES! I also love that there isn't that "I'm getting beaten up but one second later I'm God and I can destroy all evil with one attack" kind of trope that is so popular in shonen (that's why I prefer seinen). They're getting beaten up by him again and again and they know he's out of their league. They admit that they can't win so easily, because, well, they really can't. It's so realistic in that way. There is no mushy talk about courage and friendship and all that shit. They work with facts and strategies, there is no miracle. The whole manga has been very straightforward and has a certain edge to it. That's why I like it so much. In my mind, I keep comparing it to Inuyashiki even though they're not similar. It's just that both have an old man character as the protagonist and the difference between both is gigantic. You'll get what I mean if you know of it but god, I'd pick someone like Sato any time over a crybaby tryhard old man and a pitiful philanthropist at that. I cringed so hard throughout the whole anime. Sorry for the rant noone asked for. "OTL
