Personally it really depends on preferences on wether or not it’s good idea. I just don’t know where you’re going in terms of plotline. To me it’s not my cup of tea. Perhaps the story could revolve around the people that go to that cafe. Perhaps the cafe owner gets involved with the clients stories somehow.
Could be interesting depending on what route you take but your description is quite vague right now, so it's hard to form an opinion on it -- like someone mentioned earlier, there's no plotline to really judge. Also sidenote -- If you're planning to do a series of one-shots, what's the incentive for people to continue reading each new chapter if it's mostly snippets? There should be something that ties each chapter together that creates at an underlying plot, even if it's vague. If you don't plan to connect the chapters in any way, then your writing style should be either really unique, or the characters should be extremely interesting to compensate. Just my two cents, good luck with your book!
Ah, so the first chapter is up, I wanted to know your thoughts :)

Hahaha, right? I didn't know what to name him and my friend/editor was like lol, just name him after a viking thing, all I could think of was a scandinavian book i read once where a kid was called Wulf, and i was like, okay how's Wolfe, and we both couldn;t stop laughing, and this is my long winded rambling way of saying thank you for reading and giving feedback!
My friend and I (mostly me since they're editing), came up with an idea for a book, and I wanna know if it's shit or not.
Cafe owner, opens a cafe, and it ends up being the attraction of many odd sorts, especially goths and people of the sort, but the cafe owner doesn't know why, and has a very "devil may care" attitude.
We're thinking of just having it like a while bunch of one shots, snippets into the cafe from the view of the owner.
Thoughts?
