It's been years and I ask around every few months, but with no luck! It is a oneshot, either a stand-alone, from a book full of oneshots, or a oneshot that came with a complete volume of another story, yaoi or shounen ai. A guy, who is from a village or a small town, comes to the big city the day before he is to be wed, and hits up a bar, where he hits it off with a guy drinking there. They talk and have a lovely time and end up having a one night stand, but the MC is still determined to go back to his home in the morning and get married. The other guy calls him out, tells him that he is being selfish and will only end up hurting his spouse and in an unhappy marriage by lying to her and himself about his sexuality, but I guess the first guy feels he has a duty to do so. When the bar guy wakes up in the hotel room they went to in the morning next day, he is alone and the MC left him a note apologizing. He thinks he will never see him again and reminisces about their time together. Some months after, they see each other again. The MC came back to be with him and tells him he sorted stuff out, he either broke it off with the girl right away and had to do some stuff back home, or got married and got divorced. Either way, he is free, honest with himself and others and ready to have a fresh start and be happy. The bar guy brushes him off, but it is implied or shown that he indeed gives him a chance and they end up together. It's been years since I read the story so maybe I remember some stuff wrongly, but I really liked this oneshot and how it was written and it left a good impact on me and I wish I could read it again and add it to my already read list so I never lose it again. If you know what this manga is, please help me!
