Suppressants are used to reduce normal day hormone release of Omegas, and are not used to avoid unwanted mating bond. Those are two separate things.
Mating bond happens during Omegas heat, where an Alpha may want to bite their neck (hence Nanao wears a collar)
Thus collars are worn to prevent it from happening.
Naturally, Omegas release a pheromone even when not on heat to attract alphas to them. Suppressants are created to suppress the hormone/pheromone released, to allow Omegas a chance at a normal life and so they do not need to stay at home all the time.
Yup, I know that omegas need suppressants, but there are also cases when suppressants don't work or when their heat comes at unexpected times.
My point is the omega here is selling his body to alphas to buy suppressants. Suppressants are meant to reduce pheromones which leads to: no alphas will get attracted to the said omega. I guess the main point of using suppressants are to minimalize attention from alphas right? But what if this omega gets his heat when he's selling his body? Won't his purpose fail though?
I'm here only to ask for my confusion tho, not that I dislike the plot or something lol, I'm just confused haha. I will also read this manga, to understand the plot more since I only read the summary :> anyway, thank you so much for the clarification /.

Okay so I just read the summary and I don't get the omega. He sells his body to buy medicines, right? Are those medicines some kind of suppressant? If so, then I don't really get the omega. Isn't omega use suppressant to avoid unwanted mating bond (avoid heat that can come whenever)? But the way he gets (buys) it was to sell his body which opens the possibility of unwanted mating bond. Thats just... Unlogic? Well.. unless the medicines aren't something to do with heat. Still, this manga is on my list tho lol
