Well somehow in the end of the novel when wangji’s brother lan xichen explain somethings to wei wuxian it says another things ( u can feel that a group of cultivators took him to get rid of him after find him or maybe i’m wrong). I dont wanna spoil more than this so if u want u can read novel. U can find it on exiledrebelsscan site. Its now completed.

Even in novel they didnt clearly said how he died ( as i said before someone explained a little to wuxian bc his memory was bad) but it couldnt be bc of zombies bc his stygian tiger device was destroyed by himself before his death so there wasnt a way to control the corps?! But they made anime confusing specially season 2 bc they cut so many things in story short.
I just finished first season of mo dao zu shi and pls help me, bc im confused. so how mc died? (this is not spoiler btw, bc its said in first ep) or will they show it in second season? also so he came back after 16 years so everyone is older than him? even that Lan guy in white clothes? bc he doesnt look so much older, but maybe mc owns older guy body too? what is difference of years?
