If I understood right, that's a school for rich people and the uke could enroll thanks to a scholarship. Maybe he needs money for living? I don't know. Maybe it'll be explained later
there are other ways to make a living, he chose the saddest one. they mentioned something about protection in the first chapter which still doesn't make sense to me because there are teachers/parents/police to head to in cases like blackmail or rape.
i hate how much the uke devalues himself, if you hate alphas so much why do you sell yourself to alphas, no matter what it's stupid.
that scene where he slept with that alpha jerk was pointless and stupid and the other alpha that stood there and acted like it was nothing is unbelievable. i've seen gentlemanly alphas but this is just pushing it. and i agree with the comment that said the romance is way off because it truly is.
