Also just a speculation of mine but I think it was the purple concubine (forgot her name ) that did this to the other concubine's child while having the empress take the blame... You get it? Hitting 2 birds with 1 stone! I am actually so pleased with the female lead so far! She is so sharp and has confidence in herself. I also hope that she will be able to reveal the villains and restore her relationship with the emperor. As for this being a harem... Well as a woman of the 21st century it is indeed hard to shallow, however I try to understand it since this is based of Ancient China where things like this were nothing but reality. So yeah I will cut the emperor some slack lol On the other hand I wouldn't mind the author making it so that our female lead has seized his attention. (▰˘◡˘▰)
