same here except while i dislike harem stories, there is something about imperial harems that attract me. it's not the petty cat fights, the cliche schemes like poisoning, nor pathetically vying for the favor of the king/emperor; there is just something about the ruthless battle field and (if the intelligence is there), the clever mind games and webs. Of course this means that not all imperial harem stories are good either.
