Her mother died when she was so young
I don't think that's the only case, something shocking most have happened...
Well,maybe yes, i think most of the reason she didn't remember her mother was maybe because she died for a long time and if you count the time when she's still in the past and current time..yeah it's a long time., and maybe she was shocked by the fact that her mother passed away. I haven't read the raws :(

Didn't they say previously that she used to have nightmares? About her mother's dead? Besides, even if her mother died when she was still a kids that's not really enough to keep her father from even talking about the mother till now. I feel like there's something in her mother's death, probably the way she died. We don't know that yet do we?

And also didn't something happen with the prince around that time. Because at first prince thought she was scared of him because she remembered the "incident" when they were young but she doesn't remember because it was traumatic. Idk why I thought he pushed her into a river cause I remember one panel that looked to me like smth like that was going on
Also I think her mom died because she was sick but I'm not sure
it's a bit sad that she doesn't remember her mother but someone else does (I mean the prince by that). I wonder what happened to make her lose her memories
