I like people keep reading yaoi despite knowing the amount of rape there is. And they still get offended when rape happens. Like wathcing a horror movie and getting offended when someone is murdered. XD
You get this group of people who want to complain here because it gets attention and this manga is popular. It's like watching Dexter or Silence of the Lamb and complaining about the gore and violence. "You do know this murder, right?"
Duh! Of course, anyone who watches a show like Dexter knows he's a murderer. The show still tries to make him seem "not so bad" especially in the later seasons. But anyone with a brain knows Dexter is a murderer and what he does is wrong.
It's fiction. There are plenty of movies and TV shows where the characters did absolutely terrible things, yet we still find their stories and characters fascinating. We can enjoy them because it's fiction. It's not real!
Just because someone enjoyed Dexter or Saw does not mean they endorse torture and murder in real life. No, we are sickened by the real thing.
This is nothing on that level. But the popularity of this manga attracts the finger-waggers who also apparently keep reading this despite the content they claim to hate, "Can't believe you other commenters are enjoying rape".
No, we're enjoying the story and art and wonderful characters. Is that all you saw? You can't see the incredible art, characters, and immense details and attention this creator poured into this. Geez, talk about small-minded.
Why blame the readers? Why not blame the author and company who PUBLISH it if it disgusts you so much. You can tell their real agenda by the fact that they want to bitch about the readers and not the content-creators.
