Maybe the idea of the author is that he fell in love and is less rational in his choices and less sharp in his judgements.
That's how I perceive it, but I could be all wrong of course
he is very reational....i can totally understand him....why do people always think that love is about being loved back? love is pure and unconditional....everything else is an illusion of the ego....the uke just loves the seme....thats it...no expectations....he suffers less than others because of this...he is very intelligent and strong :)
This might just be me, but the rational choice would be to search for someone healthier. Even if you are in love, it is still your own choice to act upon your feelings or not. However, it is still understandable what he does, because he acts out of his emotions. What he does is not random and weird, he just follows his feelings. But is he being rational? no.
Sorry but MC is being pretty fucking stupid? What happened to his common sense from the earlier chapters?
