It's a pity for the girl, but she had it coming right from the start. I mean, it's not really a good idea to date someone who clearly isn't in love with you, there's a great possibility for you to get hurt. Maybe it would be okay for a while, like hoping that the other person would come to have the same feelings -but for several years?! That's just stupid. I guess the guy cares about the girl in his own way, but he certainly isn't madly in love with her, and I'm sure the girl knows that, even if she is pretending she doesn't...
