You know Thorfinn existed in real life right? Gudrid was his wife in real life and she was an explorer as well. So it's not a "random" decision to give Thorfinn a girlfriend. This was gonna happen from the start of the manga. Gudrid was gonna appear at some point in the story.
there barely is any romance
I dont like.that thorfnn get himsef girlfriend.. i dont like when authors add romance when they dont know what they should.write more in their work... I love this manga, but this... I wanna erase it from my head...
