So this is what I got from reading till chp. 5...The company or this omegaverse(maybe?) has a mandatory rule the "Pairing System" for working omegas. It is for them to work in a pair with a beta preferably in any working environment so that if god forbid the omega goes in heat outdoors then their "pair" would promptly help them take control of the situation and help them in their work when they take their day offs or getting them proper medical and emotional support for example.
So in our MC's case, ML wanted to stay by his side by becoming his "pair" and protecting him which though he's an alpha and according to the higher ups might most probably put MC and ML in danger.
P.S.: I hope that was understandable and it is written just from my POV.
Thanks!! It got me confused when the brother said Ayame is Shu's pair, I thought he is referring to alpha-omega bond. :)
I know I loved reading this manga but it's funny I can't even remember the past chapters. Lol. If anyone can please help me, how did they know it is Ayame who is Shu's pair? Did Ayame bit him already? I don't remember that part. Plus they said there was no bite mark on Shu's neck, right?
