They don't mean a sex pair they mean the company always pair omegas with other work partners for support to keep their performance consistent
I understood that. I just felt that the time progression was weird. Like there was some time skip between chapter 3 and 4 but the reader isn't really informed about what went on there and the characters' intentions since then :^)
