Love might be a misnomer. It would probably be more accurate to say she has a crush. But its rare for manga to provide that level of nuance when it comes to love levels. No one falls in love that easily. But would she be down to date the guy and deepen their relationship?? Yeah, and who could blame her he seems like a genuine catch.
The "hero" though, totes some mind control going on. And I doubt he is a real hero. Like I would not be surprised if the guy she is traveling with now is an actual hero, and the other guy was a charlatan.
