reminds me of a tumblr post where an artist had reminded other artists that there is less melanin on the palms, and for dark skinned people, you should draw it lighter there, and some dumbass said "this is fucking white washing!" And people reblogged with actual pictures of dark skinned people who have lighter tones palms. aha, thanks tumblr.

This is such a small detail but I love that saliou's palms are lighter than the rest of his skin lol a lot of people tend to forget/not realize that dark skinned(or even just tanned) ppl aren't one solid color and I just really appreciate it
