Omg, almost the exact same thing happened to me, they said that I'm gonna get the job and that they will contact me again to sign something, but that was like a month ago... so idk what to do either

Have you ever tried calling back? They still havent responded to my email but then again when a submitted my application it took them almost a month or a little more to get back to me and im thinking maybe thats why they are taking long. IDK man in my opinion the employer should tell us just how long this is going to take ahhh it gives me anxiety
omg ik, I feel so stressed about it. I did contact him a few times but every time I did, he responded that he will contact me in like the following week, but he didn't
But I think I'm gonna try and contact him again (for like the 10th time...) and ask how long it's gonna take, but the awkward part is that I know him and I feel weird about constantly pressuring him, idk if I'm too nice or shy or what hahah
AHHH I know what you feel. I think you should ask him bluntly but it's hard because you dont want to feel like a pest either. You have enough reason too if he said he was going to call next week but he didn't. At this point I kind of feel like going back to job hunting ╥﹏╥ which sucks because I know I aced the interview but now that it's taking this long i'm having self doubts.

Update!! I met him yesterday (while he was walking his dog hahah) and he told me that the contract that I'm supposed to sign is finally ready, so I'm gonna sign it next week and then I can start working right away (so apparently it was bc they where getting the contract ready that it took such a long time, hehe ╮(￣▽￣)╭)

I applied for a job and went to the interview and I got the job. They asked for a background check and I did it and it's been two weeks and they haven't said anything. Is this normal to wait this long? I already emailed the HR person asking how long the process will take but she hasn't answered me sooo ......
