I really love the idea of the story I really do but ahhh I just feel like it was super rushed and underdeveloped. Like it could be so much more interesting if they had let them slowly get to know each other and like actually have reason to fall in love. They had like no chemistry whatsoever. I just felt like the characters were super one dimensional. Like the only characteristics the main dude had was “tsundere protag with magic power” and the love interest was just “overly nice guy who’s all smiles and nothing else”. Like idk I feel like characters have to be multidimensional/interesting to have an organic falling in love plot. Also I was super disappointed they didn’t use the arako dude for an interesting conflict/turning point for the mc, like it would have been cool if there came a point where arako kinda gets angry with the mc since he has a chance to be with his soul mate but the mc chooses to throw it away all while arako can’t have a soul mate. Like that could be an interesting turning point for the mc to realize what he had done and try to get him back! So much wasted angst lol!! Ahhh idk I don’t mean to seem harsh I just feel like there were so many missed opportunities!!
