I feel you. I was so disappointed when I reached up to that part in the novel. And I had such high hopes too...
I'm sticking around in the manhua for now tho. After all, it's still gonna be a while before all those...things happen. The art is purely my only motivation ngl. Mc is also cute but my novel knowledge just isn't letting me appreciate his cuteness as much as I'd like.

Soooo it turns out the mc turned out to be a fickle man and such a dickhead too?? Dropping this. Too bad. The art was good and the story had so much potential.
