Well it’s pretty much in the japenese/korean’s culture to have kink on rape. And to portray ukes as women. At least this story portray the uke as a man but we can’t get everything xD

    I don't think it the japenese/korean’s fault, I think it's the creator's entire fault.

Well the authors are pretty much always japenese or korean (for the mangas i read atleast). And since rape is over used, it’s quite possible it’s a kink in their culture at this point. I’m not saying they are rapist but fictional rape seems to be their shit. If not, why are so many authors including rape.

so you think there isn't any American media thas isn't using a rape trope on gay people at all? okay live in what you think is true. but it isn't true, it really doesn't matter from what country they come from, many use those trops.

I dont read or watch much gay stuff from america but i dont really get your point, are you saying Americans also got a kink on rape and their movies/series/books (for the appropriate genre) is fixated on rape?

Anyway, my argument wasn’t an attack so you should just re-read. I never said having a rape kink is a bad thing, but i say it’s not to my liking having rape in my love stories.

If a good portion of people from the same territory develops the same kind of tastes, it is most likely part of their culture.

what I"m saying is that I"m tired of people that only blame on one country all the bad trops like they created it. which is a very narrow-minded way to see things.
and I will argue not all books/series/movies that are from japan are fixated on rape trops. you need to remember who the audience of the said media first, not only the country it comes from. and by the way, I"m not attacking you or anything, just saying there is many factors to those trops. and sadly some audience does love this said trops, not me but there is people that do have a kink for this shit.

in the end we can agree, cause I don't like rape kink in the love stories at all. it really drive me crazy how much creator's use that shit.

there is many things in the word culture - the one that the government created and control over, china of example that deletes any gay media they find no matter if it's a drama or anime. they will ban it if they see it show read gay couple in it. and there is the simple people that write what they love to write with no care for the government forbid. there is so many writers that write on gay people, and yeas show their "kink" not cause they come from their writing "culture" but cause they wanted to create this, so they just do. and it change all the time, just like gossiping on someone, you can called a culture too. and again they do consider their audience, like always.

You are right, the audience do have an impact. But manga (the ones made in Japan, which is almost all of them)are written by japanese for people. So wether it is the author’s choice or the author going with the readers’ likings, It still indicates that japanese have a kink on rape. Of course this is not a proof at all, i’m basing this on a sample of the population : authors/readers for the yaoi genre.

I don't think Japan have rape kink, it just sell better and you just didn't seem to read good yaoi. the audience is Otaku fangirls that is treated not has a good/healthy people anyway. and the name by himself is an insult.
by the way, the percent that read yaoi in japan is 10% of all the people that live there.
