But since his specialty is goblins, he'd be at a disadvantage...fighting dark elves or other humans, ogres, etc. requires different fighting strategies and equipment.. I think that evens things out for his silver rank
yeah, it does put him at a disadvantage, which begs the question, how does he always do so well against any opponent? He's been fighting goblins his whole life, yet here he is fighting a dark elf who's a good summoner, and clearly no pushover. So if you gave him time to adapt, he could find strategies against them.
I absolutely agree, he can apply strategies to any opponent but he does need to learn sword skills for open spaces and for opponents with a longer reach.....once he did he should be ranked up.
He would be a beast if he learned how to use different sword skills. With his willpower, and determination he could even give the hero a run for her money if he was willing to train for that sort of thing.
I mean, we don't know the capabilities of this enemy, but I doubt most silver ranks would be fighting him this well or even survive this long. From what we've seen of his feats, and comparing to others. I think it's not far fetched to say that he's above most silver ranks.
