Yeah I'm pretty sure that's how it will go
My personal guess (I could be wrong) would be her and the king will meet more and he will like her, and the prince will still be a brat, and then on her wedding day she will be very upset about having to marry the brat but little does she know the king has decided to take his son's place as the groom
