Are they bonded?

I don’t know if it’s different for this story but aren’t omegas and alphas bonded when an omega gets bitten by their alpha during heat? If so, then Qu Qi isn’t bonded, right? He was bitten really young, and his first heat hasn’t even come yet. If they aren’t bonded then is the dependency just because Qu Qi has become so reliant on a Suan Nai? I probably missed something along the way though lmao

Honestly it's kind of confusing but I think that the way this world works is that heat isn't important when it comes to bonding???
Instead there's like two parts that come with bonding, part 1 is like the bite but it's an impartial bond, and part 2 is sex basically which makes a complete bond I think??? (they mentioned this in like one chapter and then after that qu qi tried to fuck Suan ni)
I think they're bonded though because in one chapter (one of the ones where qu qi goes to military school can't remember which one) Suan ni says he forced the complete bond and It doesn't matter if qu qi likes him or not because he's already his
It's a mess tbh and idek if this helps or if its right ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks for explaining! I was super confused but it seems clearer now. Yea I do agree that some things in the story should be better explained

I don't quite understand it but from Ch. 11 it says that there is first step on marking and both pheromones must be deeply merged to make it a complete marking. Qu Qi haven't had his heat yet hence the reason he's still in the school so it's safe to assume that heat is not part of bonding or marking???

No not every omega verse goes by the book so there are variations which makes it hard to tell. Like in love is an illusion if an alpha were paired with an omega then they wouldn't be even slightly attracted to any other omega. But in this story the alphas can have as many omega bonds as they want. What I'm tryna say is that it depends on the authors version of omega verse
