No I agree with you there. For the most part I’ve only been reading manga instead. When a manga I loved to read gets turned into an anime, I’m happy and all but I won’t watch it. It’s so much better to imagine the voices and colors of the environment than seeing it in my opinion.

same here. I know that new seasons of my favorite anime have come out (mob psycho 100 and my hero academia) but I for some reason can't bring myself to watch it.

also as ozzie-sensei said, I don't ever watch an anime that was adapted from my favorite manga, Idk why, but its really boring to watch.

I treat anime like a normal show. I watch a lot of shows on Netflix and Hulu, so I treat anime about the same way, just in a animation form. The anime/show just needs to catch my interest. Another thing that still keeps me watching anime is that my sister watches it and so I can talk to her about, especially if we’ve seen the same anime, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, etc. She tends to keep herself around the popular ones.

Probably because they're all the same now? They're all becoming very formulaic and it's boring to watch.

yes, especially in my hero academia. We all know that deku will grow to become one of the most powerful superheros. So whats the point of watching when you already know the ending?

I get annoyed with anime with fanservice, glorifying huge tits and the like. I cant enjoy anime the way I use to but its not a bad thing, Ill watch a few I think would be worth watching but for the most part just read manga since its faster. *shrugs*

That's coz they don't make them like they used to. Animes used to be a lot better ten, fifteen years ago.

Same after I got really into manga I stopped watching anime and now it’s weird for me. And not only that but there are just not as many anime that catch my eye then manga

That’s why I like Yuri On Ice a lot, you would expect Yuri to win the Grand Prix Final in the end but he got second. It was unexpected which was nice, the whole story of it is nice naturally especially since I am a figure skater it was very satisfying to watch, and the fact they make the skates on the ice like admit is just so noice. We need more animes like yoi, Good plot, unexpected twists, beautiful sounds and animation.

    I kinda disagree.

Yes i agree that Spring and summer both seasons have been really slow. The only anime i'm watching are demon slayer, given and fruits basket.

But the fall season as well as 2020 has a lot of really strong titles coming up. And best part they're all really diverse. Almost every genre is getting an adaptation.

i would recommend taking a break from anime and watch some other shows. Then when you'll come back you'll be more invested in it.
