I treat anime like a normal show. I watch a lot of shows on Netflix and Hulu, so I treat anime about the same way, just in a animation form. The anime/show just needs to catch my interest. Another thing that still keeps me watching anime is that my sister watches it and so I can talk to her about, especially if we’ve seen the same anime, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, etc. She tends to keep herself around the popular ones.
That's coz they don't make them like they used to. Animes used to be a lot better ten, fifteen years ago.
That’s why I like Yuri On Ice a lot, you would expect Yuri to win the Grand Prix Final in the end but he got second. It was unexpected which was nice, the whole story of it is nice naturally especially since I am a figure skater it was very satisfying to watch, and the fact they make the skates on the ice like admit is just so noice. We need more animes like yoi, Good plot, unexpected twists, beautiful sounds and animation.
I kinda disagree.
Yes i agree that Spring and summer both seasons have been really slow. The only anime i'm watching are demon slayer, given and fruits basket.
But the fall season as well as 2020 has a lot of really strong titles coming up. And best part they're all really diverse. Almost every genre is getting an adaptation.
i would recommend taking a break from anime and watch some other shows. Then when you'll come back you'll be more invested in it.
I have started to lose alot of interest in anime, I still like it but it doesnt feel the same anymore... Is it just me?
