I think legally, the king can either have only one legal wife and then concubines, or he can have multiple wives but the first wife will be the empress. The rest would be secondary queens or something. Ms. Lancaster's family would never settle for her as a concubine, being the daughter of a powerful duke, and Canaria is the daughter of a very low barron, so Canaria has got to go, apparently.
His father had two wives or idk maybe more. ... so why doesn't he want his son marry twice. .. like having two wives ? And threaten Cesar?
