you might be right, however i think with knowing about their past and the responsibility the sister feels towards her brother, she just plainly wants her brother to still be depending on her. that’s why she can’t accept him having secrets and liking someone behind her back. so she starts hating how he acts but not him.

I think you misinterpreted the situation, i mean except if she can push him like 3 meters away. If you were right, we would have seen cars go in front of them to show us that it was a possibility. And anyway, it felt like she was going to tell him the truth and drop the act as she was reaching to him. But when he told her that he has a secret but not the courage to tell it. She probably decided to wait so he can tell his secret himself.
Yes she hates her parents for leaving him to her. She decided to take responsibility of him because she loves him, and that makes him a burden because she had to give up everything but still she is doing it out of love. Thats what i think she meant.
