Should be fine but go to your doc. Are you desinfecting it regulary?
Yeah, I've been using sea salt water to clean it twice a day but I probably will go to the doctors tomorrow cause the swelling is really freaking me out.
I think I may have put too much sea salt in the water so i did make a solution that had less salt last night but thanks for replying ^^
Continue to clean the wound with disinfectant regularly. If the swelling and pain subsided, that’s a good sign but you should still see your doc just to be sure. Don’t take the piercing off or the wound will close and leaves ugly scar.
I've been looking into a lot of piercing related stuff cause I also plan to get mine done too. One of the things they suggested was to see if you're allergic to the type of metal they're piercing you with? Also it might help to use cotton swab to clean the wound as closely as possible.
Yeah, I dont think I'm allergic to any sort of metals but I'm nit too sure now hahaha. I'm planning on getting ut checked out by my doctor tomorrow cause I'm really paranoid :/
UPDATE: Idk if this is even wanted but it turns out it was an infection and the doctors prescribed me some antibiotics so hopefully it should it should clear up soon!

Good, than take your medication properly and desinfect it regulary. Saline solution must not be too strong. Otherwise the desinfecting effect turns to an irritating one. Hope everything turns out well :)

I got my helix pierced 4 days ago and it was all fine till yesterday when it got really red, swollen and had a throbbing pain. Its gotten better today theres virtually no pain but its still swollen and red. Idk if this is normal and I'm lowkey freaking out cause the last thing I want is my body rejecting the piercing or it getting infected.
