I don't know what kind of shit you've been watching but it's not casual for people in a manga to mention branding and to terrify slaves like that...they aren't even the antagonists as you said. It's obvious the dark-haired guy is the MC and those guys are on his side so the webtoon will steer towards making us eventually like that lot...That is what disturbs me. They aren't the "evil maou army out to conquer humans" those guys are the main character's people!
I didn't mind enslaving the nobles because we don't know the backstory and if the kingdom was rotten and the nobles on top of it then they deserve to experience what they made their people go through....however branding and making suggestive comments as if they are going to rape women...all of that is never justified even if the kindgom was bad. And again, this is surprising not because it happened but because it was enticed by "the main male character"that we're supposed to eventually cheer for and like. Rough start
But they are. I'm saying logically, if one kingdom conquered another. Kill their royals and enslave everyone. Let the winning to do what ever they want to the women and children. They start off bad and they'll stay that way were you end up likeing them or not.
