I would say it was more of a little Easter egg type of thing rather than saying the series are connected. Just a cute thing fans of both series might notice.
There was a similar thing in "the voice next door" (might be a tad off on the title). In the main character's room, there were figurines on his shelf and some of them were characters from "my darling signed in."

yeah that's what i meant ... i also read the voice next door that's why i was wondering because the two mangakas knew each other and worked closely together so i didn't mean connected as in storyline but like other stuff ...
am i the only person who thinks this manga is somehow connected to Sweet Man because when daewon went to see hyun soo on set there were characters from Sweet Man in the background like the writer and the dad from Sweet man were on set with Hyunsoo ... or am i just over thinking and imagining things .. i mean the art isn't that much different either ....
