Hear, hear, hate that trope also. Mo has a lot going on in his life already and now he has to deal with a sociopath manipulating him just so said sociopath could "feel something other than this crippling emptiness!".

I agree. It is slightly different than the usual trope but it is odd that this guy would be oh-so-important for their relationship that he gets to sidetrack the story :'D *cry*
Another “I bully you to feel something” prick type of bully. I swear to gosh it only works because people this pathetic actually exist. But I will say this is an interesting turn of events as he literally feels nothing due to his syndrome.
