I think they meant coming of age ceremony (if I'm remembering what a bar/bat mitzva is). She looks around 20, so it's most likely that. But yeah. That is weird without context.

Yeah. I read one that used the word jihad. I mean I get what you mean, but you couldn't have said crusade or holy war. Really?
If she had her bar (she’s a female so it’s sould be a bat) mitzva, then she’s sould be 12....
