Are you talking about the manga Detective Conan? In early chapters of the manga Conan mentions he’s a big fan of Arthur Conan Doyle
Because in the early chapters, when Shinichi was suddenly asked for his name right after turning small, he saw the Sherlock Holmes books on the shelf right behind his back (in his house, of course) and then decide to go along with the author’s name- Conan so yes, it’s the same one
I think Suzuki Tsuta is like Arthur Conan Doyle, both hate their works but the fans really enjoy then they are "obliged" to continue. She is saying since vol 1 that she wants to finish the manga. The vol 3 still is not release but I think it will not end until 4. Well, good for me and bad for her
