So sorry to hear that...qnd i hope your aunt get well soon!
I have a small question... after searching on Google related to GBS...i couldn't find anywhere this disorder getting linked with loosing the ability to feel pain instead it was linked with paralysis that too at it's advance stage. Whereas in the new update, Old Xian links it with this disorder making the little She Li loosing the ability to feel the pain and this very thing confused me. So since you've unfortunately experienced it through your dear aunty.. can you kindly share if it's really true that the person does also looses the ability to feel pain in it at it's early stage? I'm once again very sorry for asking such a questionㅠㅠ
I don't think she lost the ability to feel pain, what did happen was that it attacked her nerves so that she lost feeling and control over her body. She has recovered a lot and has even learned how to walk again, but she has permanently lost some of her fine motor skills especially in her hands; they often curl up without her control. She can still feel pain, but I think she can't feel as much sensation in them, so I suppose that could be what Old Xian was hinting at. Thanks for your concern:)
GBS is no joke, my aunt had Guillian-Barre syndrome and she basically became paralyzed and had to be put in a medically induced coma
