they found out that they were each other’s doppelgängers bc the girl twin has no energy at all, n she was like that since birth. But the boy twin has had multiple powers since birth bc he absorbed her powers bc I think it’s a thing where both counterparts from each world have powers but the only way to actually be able to use it is to take it from the other person. N because the boy twin has multiple powers I’m guessing that bc of the fact that his mum is a portal and that his dad is from the other world place effected the twins’ powers.
ummm, also abt the ‘word imploding with the portal inside the girl twin’s mind’ if the girl twin did the world wouldn’t of imploded it was just that the boy twin was the better decision bc if he didn’t do that, then the whole thing would of been for nothing like all that would’ve happened is that the people who died in the girl twin’s mind died in real life as well as herself the boy twin did it so that he would be able to stop the crossing between the two worlds bc no one from any of the worlds would have memories of the other world
I was in a state of confusion for the last like 20-30 or so chapters. I have so many questions.
First off, was 76 the very last chapter? If so, the author left a couple unanswered questions. Like the mom. She was supposed to be bedridden since she was born(?) through a portal and thus she herself was a portal(?), if I got that part right. Yet now, she is apparently healthy enough to take care of her daughter. Why?
I also get, that the twins were actually doppelgangers because of their mom being a portal and the fact that the dad was from librium, but it was never explained, why they could stay in the same place. Since Dooyoung was from librium, he should have been sent back. Even if the mother carried him to term herself, due to being a portal, after birth he should have been taken back by the energy.
Also, there was that memory of Dohee pushing her doppelganger from the balcony, which then changed to Doyoung pushing Dohee down (I guess, he misremembered it as his sister doing it), but it was again, not explained. Was that just a traumatic false memory, from when he first read memories directly from a person (who happened to be his sister, so it translated as killing her), or was that something else? It only made sense, as long as we didn't know that they were doppelgangers, since I thougth that Dohee from Librium replaced her earthen counterpart. But since that isn't the truth, it's probable that it's just a false memory. Which then brings us to the fact, that both Dohee and Doyung were alive, and in the same world, despite being doppelgangers. (Btw, I didn't get how they figured out that they were doppelgangers in the first place.)
Then there is the whole matter of people's energy being in one person. It was never explained why the vessel breaking would destroy both worlds. (And the explanation, as to why they needed it in the first place was sloppy at best.) It's not like a couple thousand people didn't die in a short time frame in the past, so releasing that much energy should not have had such destructive consequences.
Then, the very end made no sense. As far as I understood, they (the grandpa, det. Han, Kali, Sooyung, Doyung and Dohee) battled it out inside Dohee's mind. In the past, when Doyung was in her mind, he just passed out. Yet this time, they acted like the grandpa, detective Han, Sooyung and Kali actually died - body and mind - in battle. (Yet sooyung appeared, like nothing happened?? What about the others, then? The grandpa was declared dead, so was there a body?) Also, Doyoung apparently sacraficed himself by absorbing the energy and falling into the portal. Which, somehow saved the world. Yet, if Dohee did that, the world would have imploded?? Doesn't make sense. Also, if he fell into a portal, he should have ended up somewhere. Wether it's Librium, or Earth, it seemed like the end of the world would have happened anyway. Or did he die inside the portal? If so, it would actually explain my last question, which is "what about the other crazies from Librium?". If the power exploded inside the portal, and somehow severed the connection or rendered the portals useless, then that's fine. If not, the librium people could just continue doing their usual bs.
Also, the whole time, since Doyoung saved Dohee till the very end, she was going in and out of conciousness and breaking apart, before looking unharmed like it all was going out of fashion. No explanation to this either, other than "she can't handle the power". If so, why did she wake up occasionally, and why did her cracked skin go back to normal?
Detective Han also made no sense. He wanted to save Jack to find out his research, but at the same time he was okay with the world ending? He literally said this in two consecutive sentences. Buddy, if the world ends, you ain't gonna save nobody.
The fate of Jack was not explained either.
*Sigh* Even if we do get some kind of epilouge, I doubt these things will be explained.
