The uncle definetly did something that he regrets a lot for the sake of teacher cheng earlier on, since he mentioned it a couple chapters ago. I'm not sure it is this, or maybe something to do with the band of people the bartender was friends with? Since he mentioned that if qingyu finds out the truth they will all be hated, so what exactly did the bar keep do that would make him be hated by qingyu? Well it is definetly very interesting development and somehow everyone is involved just don't yet know in which way! excited to find out! Though either way it will probably break my heart

well, the uncle and the bar guy are accomplices, they know what cheng is doing and they let him doing it and worse, they try to cover him

They are part of it. That's why the bar guy is letting him drown his sorrows with alcohol and will not disclose the information about the woman. The uncle is not happy with the plan but will still go along with it to protect his nephew. I liked both of these characters but they are upsetting me now!
