In the next chapter prince chris will come to the rescue and expose Irene. So basically I think is going on is that. Irene family prolly doing something sketchy and the prince and his entourage are getting close to Irene to lower their suspicion while investigating her family.so all the stuff that’s been happening is on purpose done by the prince and he prolly didn’t tell the MC cuz he didn’t want to mix her into it. I don’t understand Chinese so that’s all I saw but don’t worry the prince still loves the MC!! DONT DROP IT!
