Miya’s had a crush on Fukami even before all this happened. I’d rather not take Eiji’s side (of all people jfc)... It’s funny how the opposite effect is happening from what the author intended. Instead of rooting for the pairing, people prefer them to be friends? This comment section, I swear lol. Whenever I go to a non-BL story, I see fujoshis pairing two guys who’re only friendly to each other. This might be the first story I’ve read where people want to root for them as friends rather than lovers. Rip author.
Well I know this was not the author intention and until chapter 2 i was all for a "slow burn" romance based on friendship and kindness but after what eiji said to fukami it just made me feel unsatisfied if this point wasn't adressed but oh well i know it won't, eiji is too jaded and he feeds on shin insecurities and it could be a good point to be explored. Funny you say that because even when the same is an asshole many still want them to be together but here the guy is kind and understanding and we want them as friends, the human mind is amusing
You know after reading what eiji said and shin feelings I kind of wanted them to just be friends, because of what eiji said it seems as if straight people can't be friends with someone who likes the same sex as long as they are willing to be something more. And shin needs friends but ok in this plot he already had some feelings for fukami but that doesn't mean he couldn't accept kindness from someone who wasn't gay, eiji made it seem as if only gay guys can be kind to shin because they want something more from him or because they are gay and they can relate to shin. I know this is not that kind of story but i got this feeling after this chapter and thinking better now i remembered heesu's friend from heesu from class 2
