Thats True , it makes no sense that after half a year they won't tell the family . I understand it from heesoo pov that he feels as a normal beta he won't get accepted by the family and want to stay put , but Dojun will be surely against having heesoo as a secret. But maybe he could feel that heesoo doesn't feel comfortable enough to come out so he just keeps quite to his family. So I think it all goes from heesoo
omegas are viewed higher in the social hierarchy and useful in fargo’s story. betas are seen as unimportant, ordinary and plain lol of course heesoo wanted to keep it hidden because hes been told his whole life that he wont amount to anything. Betas are not viewed as anything special in Fargo’s omegaverse.
Not only that, Heesoo also have the servant complex, he might feel double unfitted for "master" because he is his boss and because he is a beta, witch means he is misbehaving for even getting close to his superior master and he is useless cus he cant get pregnant or at least match his master in other life aspects.

If his family is so open to omegas it shouldn't be a problem for a beta either. Chowon also needs to learn his place. He's nothing but the ex-wife. Dojun and Heesoo don't need his permission to date each other!!
